What materials did you use? cotton fabric and acrylic yarn

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I would rate this as a advanced beginner crocheter. You also need some basic sewing skills! No sewing machine required! Complete crochet and sewing instructions are included for the approx 31" x 30" blanket and I have added two edging options! The instructions do not include the name of any of the fabrics shown. You will need to choose and purchase your own fabric and coordinating yarn. Color photos included! I am always available for help!

I Love your choice of fabric! Do you know the manufacturer and print name? I would love to get hold of some

Vanna, I purchased this fabric in Omaha, Ne at a lovely shop More Sew For You. The fabric is Francesca line from Anna Griffin. They are happy to help you. Please contact them at 402-932-8217 or their web site is http://www.moresewforyou.com/

Is it necessary to pre wash the fabric before attaching to the crocheted blankets? I would think that might be a problem on frequently washed baby blah!et?

It is not necessary, however, you most certainly can. The fabric is slightly loose when you attach it to the yarn side, so when you launder it, it shrinks up slightly for a perfect snug fit! The yarn itself does not shrink if you are using acrylic yarn.
