Quilting: Halloween Tote
19 kudoz

Halloween Tote

Instructions

I pieced together scraps of material into a rectangle about 15 x 24, quilted it, then sewed it into a tote bag.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Other

Style: Whimsical, Holiday

Materials

Halloween Fabric scraps, batting, black batik, orange webbing

What was your inspiration?

As usual - the scraps that couldn't be tossed away!

What are you most proud of?

It's actually quilte cute, and I finished it instead of stuffing the scraps away...

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It's amazing what you can make out of those little bits and pieces - this would have been cute as a little pillow, too.

That is beautiful and you have inspired me. I was going to crochet candy corn bags for my grandchildren but I think they will like fabric bags better. Halloween fabric is half off on Columbus Day so I am putting that on my list. Thanks :)
