Polymer clay (white, yellow, orange), Gloss varnish, Swarovski crystals, black glass beads, Copper headpins, Copper rectangle blank, alphabet stamps, black paint, Martha Stewart orange glitter paint, purchased leather necklace.
What was your inspiration?
LynzCraftz's Craftsy post with instructions on making Candy Corn beads were the starting point! The diamond swirl earrings were made with the leftover clay from the Candy Corn. After, I decided to make a ghost. The eyes are black glass beads embedded in the polymer clay before baking.
What are you most proud of?
This is my very first polymer clay attempt, so I am very pleased how they turned out.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The white polymer clay picks up EVERYTHING! Make sure your hands and work surface are spotless and that you work with the white before any other color.
