Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Sorry the picture isnt that good, it was dark at the venue and I forgot my camera. Chocolate & vanilla cake, rice krispie treats, buttercream icing, royal icing, gumpaste, airbrush, star cutters (I cut the tiny ones out by hand), clay extruder, silver highlighter dust w/ vodka, 1/2" core board - cut to shapes & covered with wood grain looking contact paper, gold metalic heavy thread, skewers, tylose glue, Wiltons silcone mold for letters/numbers, Cricut Cutter for the Hannah Montana Logos

What are you most proud of? I really like how it turned out.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Templates are your friend - use them!! This was transported in two parts. I made it so the handle could be removed - I felt it gave it a more realistic look without a complete board under the entire shape of the cake.

Fantastic job! What is the handle made of and what stops it from cracking in the middle when placed at that angle?

the handle is made out of rice krispy treats that sit on top of 1/4" foam board. its very light. no need to support where it sits on the cake, the top of the handle its supported underneath with a piece of foam board cut to proper height
