What advice would you give someone starting this project? After you make the "heel" wrap it in whatever color your going to make your shoe. If that makes sense.

I know right, I later learned you can use cardboard in between inner and outer sole for more structure.

Love this how did you get it so shiny? Also the jewels did you make with isomalt?

Brushed with vodka the "jewels" made with gumpaste painted with edible luster used a Martha Stewart jewelry mold.
