This one is my absolute fave and makes me want to take the class. What were your personal additions? Just the crochet edging, or is there more you did to make this your own?

Thanks, Leyali! I just added a few rows of the yoke pattern on the cuff and casted off the sleeves with orange yarn to match the neckline. This is another color version shown in the class. I casted on with orange yarn instead of the contrast color which is not suggested in the pattern. I have also added some length to the sleeves and the body. This is my first color work and I was really pleased to have enrolled this class, I highly recommend it. I was lucky that it was on discount when I enrolled it.

Thanks very much, Sweller. I bought the ribbon in a local craft accessories shop in Hong Kong but I

Love your colours, I think I will steal them for my next Maren. Your crochet edge is perfectly flat, do you have any secrets to offer the rest of us. What size of hook did you use and did you chrochet into every stitch.

Feel free to use the colors Buzzaknits. Actually they are the suggested colors of version 2 of this project. After I crocheted the right side edge for the first time with 3mm crochet hook as suggested in the pattern, it's not flat and ruffled. I frogged it and crocheted it again. Like the first time, I crocheted into every stitch with 3mm crochet hook but tighter and the result was much better. It's flat but not completely straight. I am really pleased with the result of the other edge (probably due to more practices). It's completely flat and straight. Hope it's helpful to you and good luck to your knitting ;)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who struggled. I ended up redoing the edge 3Xs and in the final attempt I skipped every 4th stitch. I anchored the skipped stitches with extra hand sewing.

Yeah, I think quite a number of us had this problem. I'm thinking that may be because I'm a novice crocheter. If my second time didn't work, I would try with a hook one more size down coz I dared not to skip any stitches for fear they would unravel. You did a good job in anchoring the skipped stitches! I'm sure many of us had put a lot of effect in making this cardigan but itI really enjoyed the course and the knitting. It's really fun!
