My pics are taken after I've worn it out already, so it needs a press again. Materials

Grey suiting fabric. Grey floral satin for the lining, 95%poly/5% spandex. McCalls Blazer M6172 View C without pockets.

What was your inspiration?

I needed a blazer that actually fits.

What are you most proud of?

Well fitting, comfortable blazer that no one asked if it was "home made".

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Two pieces sleeves, lining, fusible interfacing.... etc, so not a project for a beginner.

Love your lining and the shoulders look great. If you wanted a button or two I would consider a tailor. Your jacket does look great!!

I love the blazer, it looks great on you. The princess seaming in the back adds a nice shape. Also a great choice for lining, and adds a nice designer type touch. I am nowhere near this level of sewing, but I hope to someday be able to make myself a nice fitting jacket of this quality. Great job!
