What was your inspiration?
This skirt was entirely based upon the fabric. I had one objective in mind since the beginning: use some light green twill fabric I had no matter what! I only had a small amount of yardage (1-1/2 yards), and I wanted to use it up. Wasn't quite enough to make the skirt length I had in mind so I added blue, floral stripes to the lower section. And that is how it came to be!
What are you most proud of?
You may not see it but I am most proud of the interfacing I used. There is not one square inch of synthetic interfacing in the waist yoke. Nope. I used cotton fabric to reinforce it all and I love it!
