What was your inspiration?

A friend who lived in Hawaii want something from me before he leaves Korea so I made this Green Sea Turtle for him. I heard that turtle is symbol of luck in Hawaii... is it true?

What are you most proud of?

Always feel good to give a gift to friends as souvenir.

I also do Hawaiian quilting. LOVE this pattern. .. EVE RYBODY in my family wants a quilt and I try to put a Honu in mos of them, was running out of ideas! Thanks! Good Job!

The honu or turtle are protected here in Hawai'i as the quilt should be. You did a wonderful job. The colors are the colors of royalty so very appropriate. Hawaiian quilts are fit for a King or Queen. They may not be "difficult", but certainly are time consuming!
