What was your inspiration?
I loved to make Mixed Media assemblage jewelry. The embossed paper was the inspiration for the green color. The mix of items were from a collection I purchased and from my stash.
What are you most proud of?
I like that the heart has the right balance of negative space (where the paper shows) and positive space (the area covered with charms). The lace and the word art ("magic") add a nice touch.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Lay everything out approximately where you want it, starting with large things first. When you have it about where you want, take a photo with your phone. Take everything off and start gluing from the bottom. Use the photo you took as a reference but don't be concerned if something ends up in a different place! That's part of the fun.
