What was your inspiration?
I had lots of fabric in my stash and wanted something breezy that looked nice for this summer. The fact that the pattern has pockets is icing on the cake.
What are you most proud of?
Planning and preparation, here. I looked at the other reviews on PatternReview and determined I could do without the side zipper entirely and cut the front and back skirt pieces on the fold, making this much simpler to put together.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The pattern runs large, so be prepared to either do like I did and make it a pullover dress or make a size or two smaller.
