Oooh - great to see the blocks together, and I love the border you added, too! That subtle stripey green background fabric makes such a great effect in your quilt - it absolutely shimmers - like light reflecting on water. Great!

Thank you Jackie! I have one more border to put on it and then figure out what to do for the backing. I have already started the sailor's dream blocks. I had my machines in the repair shop so now I'm making up for lost time LOL!

I think it looks great. Congratulations. Can't wait to see it with borders and quilting. Do the machine quilting class, I learned so much and am actually having fun quilting my quilts instead of dreading it or them becoming UFO's.

Sandra, I meant to tell you there is a woman who teaches machine quiliting online for free. Her name is Leah Day and I really like the way she breaks each step down in steps. She reminds me of Peggy the way she teaches. She makes it easy to understand Check out her website, http://www.freemotionquilting.blogspot.com I think you'll enjoy it!

I know I made a mistake on the two center squares, I should have turn them to match their matching colors but it's all good. I know what to look for next time. I still had so much fun paper piecing it together!

Hey wait a minute I didn't make a mistake, I looked at other quilts and the colors are in the right place I think because the fabrics have so much movement in them they are more noticeable.
