Jade Cashmere two ply lace
What was your inspiration?
I based these mitts on a chart from the book Latvian Mittens. The chart had too many stitches, so I had to adjust the charts to make them small enough for my hands.
What are you most proud of?
While I was able to adapt the charts somewhat, these are knit on 000 needles to pull the cashmere lace in tight enough so these hug my hands. There are so very long stretches of a single color in these mitts and I love how the floats worked out. They are very even.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Always knit things that you love.
