Dots, Checks and Striped fabrics from my stash for the quilt, graph paper and colored pencils for the design.
What was your inspiration?
A weekly themed contest of dots, checks and stripes and another challenge on strip pieced quilts.
What are you most proud of?
I designed this quilt myself. Most greek key log cabins or spiral quilts use two fabrics...mine uses three which made it more challenging. Also, because of stipulated time constraints, I began and finished this in under a week!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use light, medium and dark fabrics to make the design pop! It's an easy log cabin design, so go ahead and give it a try.
