What was your inspiration?
I wanted to try out what I had learned in Project Upcycle by making a purse according to Betz White's directions. It worked perfectly. Then the aqua blue bamboo yarn in my crochet basket just looked so good with the gray, I made a little flower and sewed it on.
What are you most proud of?
I'm just amazed at all the things I was able to make with the one thrift store sweater! All four projects in the above pictures contain parts of that sweater.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Look at items in thrift stores with an eye toward what they could become, not what they are now.
