DK wool with 4mm hook (I think). Very simple granny square pattern.

What was your inspiration?

This pattern is a traditional crochet design and so I wanted to make something that I'll enjoy, and always see around the house, in the stitch.

What are you most proud of?

The even-ness of my stitches and the colour combination.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It's a very straight forward pattern but it produces great results! Would make a great house warming pressie or an excellent starting point for a newcomer to the craft.
