What are you most proud of? Er... how much the dog loves it!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Keep referring to the chart, to get the hang of granny square 'architecture'... I also kept a row-counting note by my side to keep track of when to slip-stitch two, and when only to slip-stitch one between rounds, and to make it immediately obvious what row I was on. Oh, and if the yarn tail from the very beginning (at the centre) sticks out at the 'wrong side' (it's reversible once finished, I know - but for purposes of working, there's a wrong side!) then you always know which way round to go i.e. you don't accidentally end up reversing!

Introducing Izzy! :- ) who this morning ran out into the garden as usual, then straight back in, ignoring breakfast to be back in her... granny square blanket!
