Materials

I found this quilt top in an old trunk and decided to rescue it. I bought yellow cotton and hand appliqued the edges of every hexagon to make a border. Then did tiny orange hand blanket stitch around all of it because some of the white hexagon fabrics were badly frayed.. My long arm quilter friend quilted it very close so the old fabric (1040's?) could be saved. Not sure of the age.

Very Nice. I have one that I've been working on (on and off) for years. It's my take and go project.
