What was your inspiration?

Each year my employer does a company wide campaign to raise money for the Washington state combined fund drive - I decided to make a quilt to auction to help our department raise money for our charity

When I saw the fabric and fell in love with it, and thought it would make a beautiful quilt

I named it Grandmas garden because it reminds me of my Grandma and her flower garden

What are you most proud of?

that my rows are straight!!
thank you Jenny Doan for the great tutorial on sewing a strip quilt

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

to give it an "old" look don't pre-wash the fabric that way when you wash it the batting will shrink just a bit and give it that well loved old quilt look
