What was your inspiration?
My grandmother loved to crochet, so when I got these doily stamps, I knew exactly how I could use them to make a scrapbook page to put in our family album. She loved rhinestones and sequins and anything that glittered, so I added some of those as well.
What are you most proud of?
How well everything worked with these photos, which are not the best but the only ones I have of my grandmother.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I used embossing resist to create the doily background, and then ironed away the embossing after I was done to get rid of the shinyness.
