Materials
Rayon/Lycra Jersey in abstract graffiti print; clear elastic; interfacing for cuffs; vilene bias/stay tape. A mixture of Burda Style 10/2012 118A Cowl Dress and Burda Style 11/2012 101 Chiffon Dress sleeves. Other slight changes were made - no zipper is used; sleeves lengthened; length shortened.
What was your inspiration?
To make this woven pattern I loved in knit fabric. I love this pattern!
What are you most proud of?
Mission: accomplished!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Reinforce all horizontal seams with elastic or stay tape I also stabilized the gathering at the waist (elastic) and armholes (stay tape). Since the pattern is bias cut in parts you want to be sure it keeps its shape. Especially when using a knit!
