What are you most proud of? I'm most proud of the fact that my 13-year-old daughter said, "I am so going to wear that!" And she has many times.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take the Craftsy A-Line Skirt class. It's packed with good useful info!

I think your daughter and you both have great taste :) Wonderful skirt :) Sounds like it was a fun challenge!

Thank you Jenya! My daughter's been a little fashionista since she was 18 months old : )

ok...this skirt just ROCKS!...I just recently signed up for this class...are instructions given how to get this effect?

Thank you Mary! I used the class instructions to make the yoke part at the top, and it fits better than any skirt I've made yet. The lower part is rectangular (not curved) and pieced and pleated. I think it's too much to explain in this comment box. I'll check my blog post this weekend and make sure I've got it explained in there.
