What was your inspiration?

I was inspired to create this design by the many factory-made kufi-style beanies on the market. I wanted a beautiful hat that could be dressed up or down with ribbon, flowers, bows, etc. while still including the love and care that comes with a homemade beanie.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is a great project for those new to crochet! Be creative! Find some gorgeous yarn in colors that inspire you and have fun!
