Funky fabric, 2 complimentary prints, fusible fleece, sewing supplies, button.

What was your inspiration?

My daughter needed something to put her garmin in to keep it from getting scratched. I wanted to make it bright and playful, that's why I chose the funky fabric.

What are you most proud of?

I kinda made up the pattern as I went along and it came out just like I had envisioned!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Measure your own gadget, my measurements may be for a bigger or smaller device!

Thank you! I love my new Bernina because it sews over multiple thicknesses without a hitch!

Ah!im beginning to look for a new machine and have tested a few. I have a basic Janome and now am dabbling with the idea of embellishments and monograms, but still want a great basic machine that isn't fussy. What model do you have if you don't mind saying?

I have an Activa 240 which is a computerized sewing machine with a lot of special stitches but it is not a sewing/embroidery machine. My mother-in-law gave me her old Bernina Deco which I use for embroidery and I love using it, but it only embroiders 4x4 areas. When it kaputs, I am going to get either a Bernina sewing/embroidery machine or a Viking or if I'm strapped, Wal-Mart sells a nice Brother embroidery (not sure if it sews, too) machine for under $400.
