Fabric on hand. It really applies to two classes and the only way I could show that was to enter it twice.
What was your inspiration?
The recipient loves golf, and I found a panel and some accompanying fabric. Two hints from the Creative Backs class helped: not letting design run into the excess needed for the back and not centering the piecing. I also used the info on piecing a large print, only I used it on the front where the border fabric needed to be pieced.(The instructions included graphing a plan, which is valuable; it is already part of my bag of tricks.)
What are you most proud of?
That it is finished. And I like the way it looks..
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be sure to allow twice as much time as you think it will take. Measure twice.
