What was your inspiration?
This cake was a perfect blend of shopping and fashion for the birthday girls I'd made it for.
What are you most proud of?
It looked real to those who saw it! I was super proud of the zipper which took many tries to get it right. It really was key to making the whole cake look realistic :)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have patience, don't panic, and eat the pieces you cut off during the carving process.... I have decided that those are calorie free.
