What was your inspiration?
This was the second faux setting I created the faux stone just needed something airy & light. My faux stone was the inspiration for this peice.
What are you most proud of?
How metalic the setting turned out. To me it looks just like antique brass.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't make your vines/ropes too thin, clay is fragile & can shatter if dropped after firing. Having said that I've never had this happen to a peice of jewelry although I have had other types of items break( I used to sculpt Mermaids & Fairies & had quite the problem with breakage.).
