What was your inspiration?
Amy was my inspiration. I love the way she gets so excited about each block, convincing me that I'm going to just "love, love, love" making these blocks. I also love her modern and fresh fabric choices. I wanted to make this project look like "my own" by choosing different fabrics but wanted them to look modern and fresh like hers.
What are you most proud of?
So far I would have to say the March blocks. I really like the way they turned out.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I put my computer right next to my sewing machine. I listen to one step, pause it and then do the step myself before moving on. So far I haven't had any trouble getting the blocks to work out. They always seemed to come out the way Amy's did.
