What was your inspiration?
I had seen lots of examples of this shawl online and fell in love with it. Also, I had never knit with beads, and I wanted to try that.
What are you most proud of?
I wanted to finish this shawl in time for a party I was attending, and I was able to make my deadline! I was also proud that I networked with other knitters online and figured out the best method for adding beads to a pattern that hadn't been written to include them.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Decide if you would like to make the shawl bigger than the pattern's dimensions (I made mine much bigger). Then, make sure you buy enough extra yarn you if you are going to make the shawl bigger.
