What was your inspiration?
I love these fabric and thought they'd be good for girl's aprons.
I also buy organic cotton/bamboo by the bolt for backings & linings. It looks & washes like cotton but germs can't tolerate bamboo so it's excellent for kids clothing and to line anything that will be around food or baby drools. I line my bibs with a bamboo that looks like French terry.
What are you most proud of?
They are cute & functional. The girls I've made them for all seem to really like them.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just do it. I put pockets on everything (even my TeddyBears) the large pocket on these aprons is sectioned off down the middle for stability, so it's actually 2 pockets.
