Demure, but alluring. Sophisticated, yet sweet and easy to make! Christine Haynes shows you how to take one top in eight pretty directions.

What materials did you use? Liberty Lawn Cotton

What are you most proud of? I normally steer clear of anything with buttonholes so was dreading it but they turned out really well.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time. If you live in the UK check the pattern size as I nearly cut out a 12 instead of an 8! I also had an issue with the buttonhole placement as they were too far to the left - I should have centred them in the middle of the extending placket from the collar. Instead I followed Christine's instruction to place them 5/8" in from the edge.

I am an experienced sewer but would love to have this pattern. Is there a possibility of purchasing it without going thorough the sewing class?

Unfortunately no. The pattern I designed is exclusive to the class, so this is the only place to get it. Sorry!
