Caron Simply Soft 100% Acrylic yarn and U.S. Size 1 double pointed needles.
What was your inspiration?
My granddaughter, who will soon turn five, loves my fingerless gloves, so I decided to create a pair for her and then knitted legwarmers to go with them. I made a second set in a different size, so that I can offer the pattern in sizes 3-5 and 6-8.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is mostly stockinette stitch, which on double pointed needles means knitting every round! The ribbing is k1, p1.
