What was your inspiration?

I love Halloween, everything about it is inspirational. It's a time when anything goes. You can be anyone, or anything, you want to be.

I have a weird sense of humor, so, one day I had these fingers set out on my table and wondered what I could do that would really be unique, and this design was born.

I love the Goth feel of the chunky links and chain. It reminds me of the dark dungeons in the old movies. Yet with the humor of Gene Wilder in Young Frankenstein. You know, macabre yet funny at the same time.

So this necklace has the macabre fingers reaching around the neck, with the humor of being choked by a "choker" style necklace.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This project was created with items I had on hand. If you have some suppies you haven't used for a while, set them out on your work space and see what your mind comes up with. You'll be surprised.
