When I started out, I knew I wanted to use my Lots of Bots stamp set (Stampin' Up!) and this circuit board designer paper that I had found at a scrapbook store. I already had an extra cut and scored, brown card base and I thought I could bring all three together. cardstock, gear punch, designer paper, sick robot stamp, get well sentiment stamp, bolts brads, sponge dobber, ink

What was your inspiration?

My Granddad (an electrical engineer) had been going through some different procedures recently and I thought I would a Pals Paper Arts layout challenge to make him a Get Well Soon card.

What are you most proud of?

I liked the rustic look the gears had by distressing the edges.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Small embellishments really add a lot. Just look at how fun the bolts brads are!

Very original card, also interesting with use of the gears and unusual creature. I am envious of crafters who can go with thier imagination alone to make a one of a kind unique card.
