What materials did you use? A variety of fabrics on this one as I simply asked for 5 inch squares with a get well message written in the center. I then trimmed to 4.5 inch squares to be sure all were uniform

What are you most proud of? That I was able to get the quilt started, completed and two her in three weeks! That would not have happened without her friend, Bonnie, who is an extraordinary long-arm quilter and a great friend of my sister's. Bonnie did an all over pattern of all things sewing: thread, needles, scissors, etc. Perfect for my phenominal sister.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you want more control, buy the fabric and cut the squares yourself (See Eliza's quilt), but this was pure whimsy and came together quickly once I got all the squares and played with them on my design wall.

By the way, do plan blank squares and send along a permanent marker. That allows for visitors to get in on the fun and leave more well wishes.
