This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Jean-ius: Reverse Engineer Your Favorite Fit »

Instructions

The only special instructions are that I used a piece of stay tape inside the waistband so it wouldnt stretch out over time. Kenneth King is wonderful as an instructor!!!
Check them out on my new blog.... geniknits.blogspot.com

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Clothing

Materials

My fave jeans by Mavi. Stretch Indigo Denim...approx 10oz. C&C Jeans thread. Conventional Machine Serger

What was your inspiration?

Making my first 2 pairs of jeans was so much fun with Angela Wolf's help I just wanted to step it up a notch and had purchased this class with Kenneth King a month ago.

What are you most proud of?

How perfectly they fit!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just go for it, be patient, take frequent breaks.
Come check them out on my blog to see how it went! geniknits.blogspot.com

You look great in these jeans, excellent sewing on your part. Where you surprised by how well of an outcome you had? I am thinking of taking this class after seeing your results.
