This wasn't my first ever shirt (I've made about 15), but I think it's the most professional looking. I used some leftover fabric and the yoke is actually lined with a piece of pillow case! I have added my blog name, stitched on some recycled ribbon. I did the tower sleeve placket, but not Pam's - I had already cut the slit in the sleeve, so hers didn't work, but I can see that it would be much, much better, so I am set to start the next shirt using her method. I found the class to be fantastic - I learned so many things that just made a massive difference, from the way the pocket was sewn to the hemming, even resizing the pattern so that flat felled seams would work (why didn't I think of this?). Thank you Pam, you were amazing!
