Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: This cake was done using Fondarific in the wrap and panel method. I also used the wax paper transfer method for the scallops. The gold ray is done with gumpaste and the broch is isomalt.

Really great design. Clean but not to sterile. You've really found the sweet spot and I LOVE the etched/embossed lines! Have you found any fondant other than fondarific to work well for that?

I primarily only use Fondarific because I can stiffen it, making it easier to panel and wrap.

Also may I ask what dust you used for the gold? As in type and brand :)l.

I think this was CK Products Aztec gold.
