Using gator printed fabric and orange and blue - alternated the colors into a nice pattern, made a small orange border, then I chose a solid white cotton fabric for the larger (outside) border.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
I made this for my new brother-in-law - as a thank-you for him being the best man at our wedding. He is a big gator fan.
What are you most proud of?
How nice it turned out, and how well he liked it. I also made a pillow - (you can almost see the edge of it on the top of the quilt) - no picture of it on here.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Lay out the squares before sewing - and see if you like the pattern it makes - if not, rearrange it until you are satisfied. Again - this is one of my earlier works and so all the squares were not quilted - I would quilt each square if I were to do it over again.
