Instructions

I cast on 18 stitches and my scarf is 57 inches long and approximately 6.5 inches wide.

The garter stitch is a basic stitch that is taught when you first start learning to knit so the pattern is very generic.

That I stuck with it and completed the scarf.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Best lesson I learnt from Sharon is to do a project that you can see the results quickly, when you are learning to knit, this way you get to enjoy your efforts sooner, and the joy will keep you knitting again and again.
