4mm garnet beads, gold craft wire

What was your inspiration?

I really like the look of the stones wrapped around a circle, and this size circle appeals to me. My friend Theresa mentioned her girls lost her favorite garnet earrings, so I made these for her.

What are you most proud of?

Theresa likes them, and they made her happy.

One of my favorites too. I love the richness of the colors - I once happened upon a gem fair when I was on vacation in Montreal. There was a section devoted to garnets - there were so many more colors than the dark red, but I have not seen them usually on the street. now that I am doing this class I think I'll do some research!
