What was your inspiration?
I thought it was a very unique pattern and I loved the colors. I gave it to my youngest son's wife in 1993.
The quilt measures 54"x66".
What are you most proud of?
It was one of my earlier quilt-making attempts, so I thought it turned out well. I have always pieced and quilted my own quilts, with the exception that I had my Family Ties hand-quilted by expert quilters. I normally use 100% cotton batting-this quilt was the exception. AT this time I was still experimenting to see what I liked to work with best.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
