Various rocks I collected from our camping trips, cement, contractors glue sold in caulking tubes, small sized hard pool liner, pump and tubing, 2 clamps, copper plumbing tube, old faucet, different sized black flower pots from seedlings.
What was your inspiration?
I wanted to hear trickling water so I decided to gather all our rocks we'd collected over the years and try building a pond in our backyard.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of it because we've now used it for 5 years and its still holding together.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I did some internet research before starting this and then just worked at it as you would a puzzle putting together all the rocks as they fit and looked best. Put cement between them as you see bricklayers do it. Used the glue for the top rocks and smaller pebbles.
Wear mask, gloves and old cloths, this project is a little messy.
