What was your inspiration?
A woman wanted a garden cake for her mother and she asked if I could try to incorporate a humming bird.
What are you most proud of?
The bird was a first for me. I am very glad that I got it to hover over the flowers by using a wire in the beak.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make a lot more flowers than you think you will need.
