I really like your choice of background fabric. Nicely done. I have done this and coloured in the background. I prefer your choices.

Thank you. I have a projector that I can hook up to my laptop. I can make a pattern by projecting the image on my wall and drawing the outlines. I just used raw edge applique and fused the cut pieces of fabric to my background. Next I add paint to make it look even more like the photo and because I love texture I add free motion quilting to emphasize some parts. Hope that helps. It was fun to make these.

Thank you! These were a lot of fun. They are hanging at an indoor park in my city for the month of September. It was perfect for the summer. Art is always a way to heal my spirit.
