I just made up the design based on the charm squares then put in fishy fabric the size of the squares sewn together where I thought they looked good. The jade is half a square and for punch. Border is Liberty fabric paisley. As you see this is only the start and I need to quilt it yetDifficulty:

What was your inspiration?
the fish fabric. I wanted to use it but not make it totally dominant. The charm squares came on sale through craftsy and when i opened them I saw some squares of the fish line so I just went with it till I had a look I liked.
What are you most proud of?
that I like it and it makes me smile when I see it
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
have fun and whatever you do chart your design on graph paper first so you have some "plan'
