What was your inspiration?
My inspiration was a trip to the Philippines to visit my brother
What are you most proud of?
The finish, which was what I was hoping but had to wait and see to be sure. We now use this all the time, it has a built in music system and hidden lighting. It all looks wonderful at night.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Decide on the size of the base and build that first, this give a wonderful deck to use before you start the hut. Sketch up the hut and work out the wood you require based on the sizes you can buy, this save cutting and waste.
