Materials

Yarn Blue Sky Alpacas Melange (100% Baby Alpaca), 50g/1.76oz, 110yds/100m. 4 skeins of # 809 Toasted Almond Or yarn that knits to specified gauge. Needles 1 US 4/3.5mm 24/61cm or longer circular needle. OR 1 set of US 4/3.5mm double pointed needles. Gauge 22 stitches x 31 rows = 4/10cm worked in Stockinette Stitch, in the round using US 4/3.5mm knitting needles Or size needed to obtain gauge.

What was your inspiration?

Highland

Inspired by old tales of wild fairies, banshees and kelpies who are said to dwell in the North of Scotland.

Highland is a collection of warm, soft knits, designed to keep out the chill as the days get shorter.

With shaggy, faux-fur accents, soft mirrored cables and a touch of lace and tartan, this collection is both fun to knit and wear.

What are you most proud of?

I love how popular these cabled legwarmers are! The fella and I fight over who gets to wear them! He wears them scrunched down, tucked into his hiking boots and over his trousers, I wear them peeping from the top of my high boots - and even sometimes on my arms with a T-shirt!
