Fused House in the Valley

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Hand-Stitched Collage Quilts »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Cute, Whimsical, Casual, Funky

Materials

Kit purchased from Laura & WonderUnder

What was your inspiration?

This was the first project in Hand-Stitched Collage Quilts.

What are you most proud of?

I learned the basics of fusing and hand stitching.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I had to refer back to the course MANY times and followed the instructions closely in order to learn all of the aspects of fusing. I'm not very original and it was difficult for me to cut out the pieces without a pattern. Even though these projects are whimsical, I have to train my mind to think freely. I'm sure the more I practice the easier it will become. I'm looking forward to the next project.
