Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Outdoorsy

Materials

Cygnets Acrylic Yarns 100g Size 4.00 m.m crochet hook

What was your inspiration?

I love suit skirts and I don't own one so I decided to make one for myself from the spare yarns I had. Hence I came up with this and it is my very first try on making a crocheted skirts in general.

What are you most proud of?

I am proud of my four days accompanied with few hours of slacking. I thought the colours were going to be off, but they turned to be rather not too bad. The flower in the centre was the last addition to the skirt. It wasn't really neccessary but I thought it deseverved at least a place becausae it took me an additional four days to complete it, so I made a spot for it on the skirt. I removed it later on

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I regret not writing down the pattern and measurements I used to create this skirt. But if any of you should need it I'll try to remember the pattern and jot it down to share. Its a small size however, about size 6.

Looks nice on you. How did you do the fringe/fur? Is it a stitch that looks like this or did you add it after?

Thank you! Its a stitch called the loop stitch and the trick is to cut the loops in two to make the fur.

This is a really adorable skirt. Do you plan on making a pattern available at some point?

Yes! Though I do not have the patterrn for the skirt in general, I do have the fur stich pattern. I'm going to re-do same skirt again and this time, I'll write them down to share. Thanks for the comment!:)
